So in my previous post, I said that the next picture would be once I got to the bottom of the V-neck. That statement was a bit premature, I think. I still have concerns about the shape of the fabric, and I still haven’t worked out how many stitches I’ll be able to make with each colorway. (Which is important only in that I need to know how many rounds I can expect to work on the body and the sleeves, since I can’t work all three pieces simultaneously, at least not without complications I’m not willing to endure.)
Here’s what the WIP looks like through row 50:
I have already started the V-neck increases, so the fronts are growing wider, but the pic is not very inspiring as to how the FO might fit.
Then I pinched together my raglan markers, holding the markers for each sleeve next to each other. What a difference!
The neckline has straightened up considerably, without any fudging by me to sort of pull it into a more appropriate shape.
How badly will I date myself if I say “I love it when a plan comes together”?
